Say hello to K’Sante. He’s a brand new addition to the League of Legends roster and according to his stats, he’s terrifying to face off against. K’Sante hails from an independent southern city-state within the greater Shurima region. Even though this city-state, Nazumah, has managed to remain independent from the Shurima and Ixtal, it’s surrounded by monsters. This is apparently not a bad thing, however, and seems to serve as part of K’Sante’s abilities as a Warden.
K’Sante and his fellow Nazumah-ites don’t seem to scare easily and end up using the hides of the terrifying monsters to craft armor, and their bones to make weapons. Riot recently gave us a cinematic look at the tanky new LoL legend, and we’ve also now got a full list of his abilities.
As mentioned above, K’Sante is a Warden. Warden basically tells you that he’s part of League’s protective crew. He carries twin weapons crafted from monster hide and bones, and if he uses his Ultimate, he morphs into a Skirmisher. At this point, he can dive and hunt his enemy down with animalistic precision.
Here are K’Sante’s abilities:
Ultimate: All Out – K’Sante will shatter his weapons and knock his enemy back while dealing damage. If his enemies hit a wall, they’ll take even more damage and be briefly stunned. K’Sante will also dash after his target and, for an extended duration, he will go All Out, as the name of the ability implies.
Dauntless Instinct – This is his passive ability. This ability lets K’Sante mark his enemies. If he then attacks marked enemies, he will deal more damage. He’ll deal even more damage with this ability when he’s All Out.
Ntofo Strikes – With this ability, K’Sante will slam his weapon down, creating a small area around him within which targets will take damage. He can also fire a shockwave that pulls enemies towards himself.
Pathmaker – This is K’Sante’s defensive stance. With this ability, he will become both an unstoppable force and an immovable object. He’ll deal max health damage if he rams enemies with this ability, and he’ll knock them back and stun them as he passes through them.
Footwork – With this ability, K’Sante will gain a shield while dashing. An ally can gain protection from the shield too, if K’Sante dashes toward them. This personifies his role as a protective force.
We’re excited to try K’Sante and his abilities out from the 3rd of November.
